Our Programs
Private and Group Instruction
Learn far more by spending personal time with top competition drivers as they share their secrets and fine-tune your skills with you behind the wheel. Many opportunities are available including us coming to you, meeting somewhere in the middle, or you visiting the Southern California deserts where we can lead you through our training and practice grounds, teaching you exciting off road skills along the way.
Private lessons, group lessons, and “Ride and Drive Rockcrawling Experiences” are all fun ways to gain experience with us. Private lessons are one-on-one lessons (or small groups that you arrange) where we teach you in your own vehicles. Group instruction is a larger group where we combine numerous off roaders into a single “off road classroom” at a major event. “Ride and Drive RockCrawling Experiences” are fun programs where we let you experience what it is like to ride in and ultimately drive our competition vehicles. All are a blast and all offer unique skill-building opportunities.
Finally, we offer our specialty off road driving training programs geared for military, public service, and special forces operations.
For more information on personal instruction, send us an e-mail by hitting the contact button at the bottom right-hand corner of any page. Give us your contact info and we will get in touch to find a program that fits your needs.
DVD Training with U4WD’s Introduction to 4WD
Dustin Webster teams up with RP Films, producers of the award-winning series, Haulin or Crawlin, to bring you a comprehensive off road training program you can use to increase your skill level.
Using vehicles you can relate to, we’ll change the way you drive off road by showing you how the champions of rockcrawling approach and conquer obstacles. What better way to learn than by watching competitors reveal their secrets. You’ll see that it’s driving skill, not vehicle ability that makes the difference as they make difficult obstacles look easy.
In this 2-hour video presentation, we cover simple and quick trail fixes like replacing a u-joint, the basics on winching, and using a Hi-Lift jack for recovery. Tire tech, safety, trail prep, off road and parts terminology and more are included so you can make the most of any trail you take!
University of 4 Wheel Drive’s Introduction to 4WD is our first installment in a series of DVD’s geared for various levels of skill and vehicle capability. This first DVD is ideal for drivers who are brand-new to off road but do not mistake this as a beginner’s video...there are loads of great tips and tricks for even intermediate off road drivers.
Let Dustin Webster teach you competition techniques that will help you drive better, drive safer, and break less, plus teach you some basic repair and recovery skills that can help you get back home.
